Iraq Growth an Innovation Program (IGIP)

Iraq Growth and Innovation Program (IGIP) is a dynamic initiative designed to stimulate economic development and entrepreneurial activity across Iraq. IGIP focuses on empowering startups, small businesses, and young innovators through targeted support in business development, access to finance, mentorship, and market linkages. By nurturing local talent and fostering a culture of innovation, the program aims to create sustainable job opportunities, strengthen the private sector, and contribute to long-term economic resilience in Iraq in partner with The Next Lab BV. (NETHERLANDS)

Riyada Hub

Riyada Hub is a pioneering business and innovation center in Iraq, dedicated to fostering collaboration, entrepreneurship, and youth development. The hub provides an interactive and integrated workspace that supports entrepreneurs and startups in transforming their ideas into successful, sustainable projects that strengthen the local economy and empower communities.

As a sustainable facility powered by solar energy, Riyada Hub embodies environmental responsibility while serving as a model for green innovation in Iraq. Through a range of programs, mentorship opportunities, and business development services, the hub aims to equip young Iraqis and emerging enterprises with the tools, resources, and networks they need to grow and thrive.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Riyada Hub strives to advance inclusive economic growth, innovation, and sustainability — building a resilient ecosystem where creativity, responsibility, and opportunity come together to shape a better future for Iraq.

Circular Economy and Climate Change in Iraq

The Circular Economy and Climate Change in Iraq project is a pioneering initiative designed to raise awareness and build capacity around sustainable environmental practices in Iraq. The program focuses on empowering youth to become trainers and change-makers in the field of circular economy, linking environmental sustainability with economic development.

Through tailored training, awareness campaigns, and youth-led initiatives, the project promotes innovative practices in recycling, sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy, adapted to Iraq’s local context. By fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, universities, and civil society, the initiative aims to create a resilient, environmentally-conscious economy.

The project has already trained over 70 young leaders, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to drive positive change in their communities.
